The Navy League of the U.S. and the Headquarters of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps have tested a group of individuals and have found them worthy to be established as a unit of the Naval League Cadet Corps and that establishment is today.

The name of the newly commissioned unit is to be the Private First Class  Jesse M. Halling division, in memory of a young soldier who gave his life heroically in the war on terror in Iraq and whose sacrifice will be remembered thereby.
